About the Role:

As a valuable member of the team, your primary objective will be to cultivate a sales-oriented environment while ensuring that we consistently provide our customers with a positive experience. You will engage with our customers on a personal level, utilizing our unique hospitality mentality approach to deliver exceptional service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing up-to-date information on our current product offerings, store promotions and upcoming events, as well as efficiently executing operational procedures. Your ultimate goal is to connect with our customers, addressing their shopping needs in a manner that leaves them feeling appreciated, respected and satisfied.

Key Accountabilities:

• Boost your sales, hospitality, operations, staffing and conversion rates with the help of our Shop C3 Program.
• Drive sales
• Encourage shoppers to make purchases by creating a stimulating shopping atmosphere that inspires them to browse your products and add items to their basket
• Ensure a uniform appearance of employees throughout the sales floor to project a professional image
• Establishing rapport with customers can begin with a warm and welcoming greeting, which can be an effective way to build customer connections
• Provision of assistance during sales floor, dressing room, point of sale, and operational procedures as deemed necessary
• Guarantee every customer feels valued, respected and acknowledged.
• Fostering a sense of trust is essential in meeting the shopping needs of customers
• Employ various channels to provide customers with a smooth experience without resistance
• Precisely execute our operational procedures, including BOPUS, BOSS, MLS, and SFS to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Establish a connection with the customer by showing interest in their needs and preferences
• Show appreciation and aid clients by utilizing our corporate initiatives
• Effectively administer sales and purchases with precision, proficiency, and a focus on conversing with customers
• Assist clients in becoming more financially responsible by serving as a consultant to help them save money with a Kohl's Card
• Processes and begins the procedure for processing Kohl's Card applications
• Polite and prompt in addressing inquiries and requests

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly carrying loads up to 50 pounds, and occasionally requiring the aid of a second person for loads over 50 pounds.
• Regularly climbing, bending, and reaching are essential.
• The capacity to remain upright and/or move around for the entirety of a planned work period (which should last no less than 8 hours).
• The capacity to authenticate information through visual means and examine products for quality assurance.
• Being capable of donning a facial mask or shield and additional safety gear.
• Ability to carry out job functions such as curbside and truck unload while being exposed to different temperatures, humidity levels, and other environmental factors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Retail or Service Industry is Not Necessary
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and spoken, that have the power to sway others in a succinct and articulate manner.
• Having an innate sense of curiosity; an eagerness to acquire knowledge

The starting salary is $14.00.
