ACCOUNTABILITIES

• As a sales assistant, it is my responsibility to greet everyone who walks through our doors with a warm smile, treat them with respect and kindness, and make every effort to respond to their inquiries promptly while adhering to the Yes We Can approach
• In order to effectively engage with customers, it is recommended to apply the GREAT program's fundamental principles. This program advises you to greet and interact with the customer first, obtain their credit information, provide them with savings details, request customer feedback, and express gratitude for their business
• Adept in understanding and adapting to contemporary technology to effectively meet customer demands
• Exemplary customer service can only be achieved through the successful resolution of customer issues
• Solicits, launches and energizes Kohls Charge applications and customer rewards plans
• Ensures that the cash handling policies and procedures are strictly enforced and followed at all times
• Ensure accuracy in every transaction while engaging customers in a speedy and efficient manner
• Prepared to cross-train and operate in alternate sections of the retail outlet

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• Capacity to heft 50 pounds sporadically or regularly
• The position necessitates spending 100% of work time standing or in motion within different departments, with frequent physical activities such as bending, lifting, carrying, climbing, walking and/or reaching expected
• Compliance with Kohl's policies and procedures can protect associates and the company from legal and financial penalties
• Regular attendance
• In a professional environment, clear communication can lead to better collaboration, increased efficiency and fewer misunderstandings among team members
• Foundational aptitude in numerical operations and comprehension, neat penmanship, and meticulousness in particulars
• Being competent in working collaboratively with peers and effectively interacting with them is a desirable attribute

PREFERRED

• Prior retail experience
• Proficient in incorporating technology into the process of task completion
