About the RoleIn this role you will provide direction and supervise associates to support a sales driving culture while focusing on creating a consistent customer experience. You will engage and connect with our customers by providing excellent customer service through our hospitality mentality approach. You will offer information to the customer on current merchandise assortment, store promotions and events, and execute operational processes effectively and efficiently. Your goal is to connect with the customers to solve their shopping needs making everyone feel respected, appreciated and rewarded.
Key Accountabilities:
- The Shop C3 Program is your key to achieving success in Sales, Hospitality, Operations, People and Conversion.
- Part of a key holder's role is to supervise and manage the activities of other employees, ensuring that they are properly trained in opening and closing procedures to ensure the safety of the store
- Drive sales
- Create an atmosphere that promotes purchasing behavior and inspires customers to add more items to their shopping cart
- A sales floor restocked with merchandise provides certainty for a pleasant shopping experience
- Use customer feedback as a tool to identify areas that need to improve. Make necessary changes consistently to provide the optimal shopping experience
- From greeting guests with a warm smile to offering personalized recommendations and anticipating their preferences, building an authentic hospitality experience requires a commitment to exceptional service
- Help in various retail processes, ranging from sales floor, fitting room, point of sale, and operations tasks, as requested
- Provide training to associates on how to handle the Omni and Freight flow processes efficiently to maximize productivity
- Making sure every customer feels appreciated, respected, and incentivized is important.

- Offer omni channel resources to provide customers with a smooth and effortless experience
- The smooth execution of BOPUS, BOSS, MLS, and SFS is a testament to the effectiveness of our operational processes
- Determines how associates are doing their work and offers guidance, working in tandem with Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager
- You can also encourage customers to sign up for Kohl's Card, which offers additional exclusive benefits
- Processes requests and initiates procedures for Kohl's Card applications to be opened and activated
- Be attentive and listen carefully to the customer's needs, concerns, and feedback to show that you value their input and are committed to helping them

Physical Requirements:
- It is essential that applicants can lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and in situations where objects are heavier, be able to utilize the help of others to lift and move the item.
- Consistent need to perform several tasks that require climbing, squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
- Being suited to stand and/or ambulate throughout a scheduled work shift (which must last for a minimum of 8 hours).
- The expertise in confirming data and inspecting items by visually locating them.
- The competence to utilize a face mask or epithelial covering and other personal protective equipment.
- Capacity to tolerate exposure to different weather conditions, humidity levels, and other external factors while executing different job functions such as curbside services and truck unloading.
Preferred Qualifications:
- It is a requirement for all participants to be of legal age, meaning at least 18 years or older
- Demonstrating proficiency in both oral and written communication, while possessing the capability to use these abilities to influence people positively.

The remuneration for this role starts at $18.10 per hour.
