About the RoleIn this role you will provide direction and supervise associates to support a sales driving culture while focusing on creating a consistent customer experience. You will engage and connect with our customers by providing excellent customer service through our hospitality mentality approach. You will offer information to the customer on current merchandise assortment, store promotions and events, and execute operational processes effectively and efficiently. Your goal is to connect with the customers to solve their shopping needs making everyone feel respected, appreciated and rewarded.

Key Accountabilities:

• Our Shop C3 Program is designed to enhance Sales, Hospitality, Operations, People and Conversion.
• Part of a key holder's role involves maintaining the safety and security of the store by properly locking up at the end of the day and opening the store in a safe and timely manner
• Drive sales
• Boost your sales by providing an inspiring environment that ignites customers' buying instincts
• The replenishment of the sales floor ensures a confident shopping experience
• All employees should be trained to greet and approach customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a consistent atmosphere of customer service
• The importance of authentic hospitality cannot be understated in the competitive hospitality industry, as it creates a sense of personalized care and attention that sets a business apart
• Assist in various processes like sales floor, fitting room, point of sale, and operational tasks, whenever necessary
• Instruct staff members on how to perform Omni and Freight flow tasks efficiently to achieve the highest levels of productivity and effectiveness
• Making sure that all customers feel valued, acknowledged, and compensated is essential.
• To fulfill customer shopping needs, it's essential to develop a brand image that customers can trust. You can achieve this by consistently delivering high-quality products, providing excellent customer service, and being transparent about your business practices
• Employ a variety of channels to ensure a customer-centric experience devoid of any hassles
• The successful implementation of BOPUS, BOSS, MLS, and SFS requires attention to detail and adherence to our established guidelines
• Keeps an eye on how associates perform and provides suggestions, in collaboration with Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager
• You can offer your expertise as a savings consultant to help customers maximize their Kohl's Card benefits
• Initiates, unfolds and enables the utilization of Kohl's Card requests
• Establish a genuine connection with the customer by asking open-ended questions that show you're interested in their needs, preferences, and experiences
• Recognize and support our clients through the utilization of our company schemes
• While catering to your customers, make sure you perform tasks accurately and efficiently, leaving them with the best impression of your service
• Operational metrics can help businesses to identify areas where they can improve and optimize their processes. By monitoring these metrics, businesses can make data-driven decisions that lead to better operational performance and outcomes
• Respectful and attentive to queries and requests
• Acclimate, teach, and nurture associates for optimal performance

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift weights of 50 pounds or less on a frequent basis, and occasionally involving two individuals for weights exceeding 50 pounds, is a requirement.
• The candidate should be able to bend, twist, reach, and carry heavy loads as part of their routine.
• Being capable of supporting one's own weight and/or taking steps for the duration of a scheduled work shift (which must be at least 8 hours).
• The aptitude to validate information and spot and scrutinize commodities through visual means.
• The advantage of being able to wear a face mask and other protective equipment.
• Capacity to withstand exposure to different weather conditions and other external factors while performing various job duties such as curbside pick-up and unloading trucks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• To be eligible, participants need to have reached the age of 18 or older

The minimum compensation for this job is $18.10.
